Lifestyle Photoboard… featuring Easter, Mother’s Day, Anzac Day and plenty more

EASTER

Even though BAC was in lockdown, the Easter bunny still managed to make his way in to give out Easter Eggs on Sunday. Hot cross buns were enjoyed on Good Friday for morning tea and a lunch fit for a king on Easter Sunday.

ANZAC DAY

Anzac Day was commemorated as usual this year but with a slight twist. As the RSL was unable to attend Banfields, we held our own service on Friday 24th. Ken Tongue delivered the ODE to the residents saying he felt honoured to be able to do this for his fellow residents. Ken himself fought in the Korean War, so has an understanding of the importance of the commemoration.
Lest We Forget.

MOTHER’S DAY

Mother’s Day / crazy hair day — Banfields incorporated both this year! On Friday, we had fun with the staff and residents who all wore their hair in all types of crazy ways. The staff ensured the residents felt part of the day by spraying their hair with multi-coloured hair sprays. The residents loved the fun that was happening around the facility. On Sunday, the residents were treated to the tables being set up in a different style again for Mother’s Day. A very special day indeed![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
