Dear Residents, Relatives and Friends,
How time flies when you’re having fun!
That’s been the motto for both our facilities recently, as we make up for lost time due to the restrictions placed onto us during the pandemic and
to continue operating under ‘Covid normal’ conditions.
Even throughout these challenging times, many positive activities and events have been happening at Banfields, thanks to the hard work of our lifestyle department. A big thank you also to our wonderful Care staff for their ongoing diligence in providing premium aged care to our Banfields residents.
We are very pleased to announce the development of our brand-new facility, Mount Eliza Gardens Aged Care, which is currently under construction on the stunning Mornington Peninsula, due for completion mid-2023.
Mt Eliza Gardens Aged Care has been purposefully designed with careful attention to detail in the quality of the living environment and services
provided. The brand new 141 bed facility will be staffed to meet the increasingly discerning standards demanded by our ageing population.
The same superior standard we apply to Banfields Aged Care.
We have been searching for top professionals in the industry to make up our Leadership and Administration Teams. I welcome new appointments, Nandita Puri, AACG Quality and Compliance Manager and Carmencita Longhay, who has been promoted to our Clinical Care
Manager. Finally, Greg Gunn has joined us as our Operations Manager in late 2022 to help lead us into the future.
The central task for me as CEO is to build an efficient and effective leadership team, which will take the Australian Aged Care Group Pty Ltd into
a safe and viable future, for the benefit of our residents, their families and our valued staff. We have continually invested in systems, processes,
people and our culture working to improve accountability at all levels.
Our entire leadership team is committed to learning, understanding and supporting the needs of our residents and their families, as well as keeping on top of all the challenges aged care providers continue to face. Cultural transformation is a way to ensure sustainability of our facilities going forward and that our residents and their families are firmly at the centre of all our past, current and future efforts.
We anticipate 2023 to be our biggest and best year yet!
