Last night, Banfields Aged Care was impacted by a power outage due to the extreme weather conditions that affected Phillip Island yesterday.
We want to assure all Banfields family and friends that all our residents are safe and sound. We have an emergency generator operating whilst we await central power to be reinstated. Our CEO, Neil Thorpe, and Acting Director of Care, Teresa Giles, are both onsite to ensure everyone has peace of mind that there has been minimal impact to us.
We will be hosting a BBQ luncheon today for all our residents to come together as a community to be reassured Banfields is operating as normal and our lifestyle activities will not be affected.
