Christmas in July, or Christmas in our Wintertime in Australia is a second Christmas celebration held in the summer season overseas and Winter Season here in Australia, mainly during July.
The event focuses everyone to get in the mood of Christmas during the alternate season, 5-6 months prior reaching to December, with Christmas-themed activities and entertainment, including small Christmas events, Christmas music and Christmas specials.
We had a wonderful celebration at Banfields, which was held in our Memory Support Unit (MSU) enjoying all the wonderful things ‘normal Christmas’ brings.
If there was ever a mid year event to cheer us up and focus us for the second half of the year, then this was it! Thank you to everyone who made it such a wonderful and special occasion.
